On Repeat: Mooncha’s New Video For “BLK TEENZ” Rules

New Haven artist Mooncha is the moniker of musician makes a healthy mix of alternative R&B and “experimental chillpop”. Earlier this year, Mooncha released their dope N / R / G album, and recently, has also followed up with an equally thrilling music video for musical highlight “BLK TEENZ”.

The video for “BLK TEENZ” is a resounding success on multiple levels. The song itself is already a banger, but recalling its infectiously catchy synthpop beat, the video kaleidoscopically bestows style, technicolor, and confidence in the perimeter of every dimension that surrounds it. It is a surreal and empowering depiction of pride in one’s self, united by love and a will to be weird.
